Staples Commitment to Accessibility

A commitment to diversity and inclusion means making our sites accessible to all of our customers, including those with disabilties or limited technology use. To do this, we are committed to making our site conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessbility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
How we improve access for everyone
Accessible Navigation
We use appropriate headings, lists, paragraphs and regions so that customers can navigate our site with assistive technology.
Accessible Media
For customers who can't see images or hear audio, there are text equivalents. We work to ensure all of our images and multimedia are fully accessible through alternative text, labels and transcripts.
Accessible Keyboard Access
For customers with limited movement we ensure that all features can be accessed using a keyboard only. We follow all WCAG guidelines for keyboard navigation standards.
Site Consistency
Once you understand how our menus and pages work, you can count on our site to function the same way every time you use it.
An ongoing commitment
As we add new features or improve areas of our site, we follow our internal design, development and quality assurance guidelines for accessibility to identify, remove and prevent barriers that may interfere with the ability to use our site. We've also partnered with independent third-party accessibility evaluators to audit our site and report issues.
Our process involves ongoing accessibility inspection to uncover and address accessibility issues, as well as responding to feedback from our customers.
